HEALING QIGONG SERIES

 

Foundations of Healing Qigong

  • This course lays the foundation for all additional courses offered.
  • Explores the three basic principles of any healing qigong system, and teaches the physical exercises required for daily practice. This course is appropriate for health care practitioners as well as those seeking to pursue personal wellness.

 

Wudang Ba Duan Jin

  • Learn the full Eight Silk Brocade healing qigong set, including movements, postures, stretching, and coordination drills.
  • Prerequisite: Foundations of Healing Qigong


Wudang Five Animal Qigong 

  • Learn the full Five Animal healing qigong set, including movements, postures, stretching, and coordination drills. Basic Five Element theory will also be covered.
  • Prerequisites: Foundations of Healing Qigong, Wudang Ba Duan Jin.

Wudang Seated Ba Duan Jin

  • Learn the full seated Eight Silk Brocade set, including movements, postures, stretching, and coordination drills. Basic Taoist meditation will also be covered.
  • Prerequisites: Foundations of Healing Qigong, Wudang Ba Duan Jin, Wudang Five Animal Qigong.

 

Wudang Iron Body Martial Qigong

  • Learn the complete Wudang Iron Body martial qigong system. Breathwork, massage, and cleansing methods are also covered.
  • Prerequisites: Foundations of Healing Qigong, Wudang Ba Duan Jin, Wudang Five Animal Qigong, Wudang Seated Ba Duan Jin.

 

TUI NA MASSAGE SERIES

 

Healing Hands I: Soft, Strong, Skillful

  • Complete hand care and conditioning series.

 

Healing Hands II: Developing Sensitivity.

  • Select sensitivity drills specific to bodywork.
  • Prerequisite: Healing Hands I


Tui Na I: Fundamentals

  • Basic principles and hand techniques (tui, na, an, mo, and pai).

 

Tui Na II: Range of Motion

  • Range of motion prone and supine (head, neck, arms, and legs).
  • Prerequisite: Tui Na I

 

Tui Na III: Advanced Applications

  • Advanced applications (prone, supine, and side, spine, belly, hands, feet, and additional stretching techniques).
  • Prerequisite: Tui Na II

Tui Na IV: Treating Common Complaints.

  • Addressing common complaints in treatment (ie. neck, shoulder, head and back pain, insomnia, fatigue etc...).
  • Prerequisite: Tui Na III

Tui Na Chair

  • Tui Na chair-massage techniques (head, neck, shoulders, back, hands, and range of motion).
  • Prerequisite: Healing Hands I & II, Tui Na I & II
